  EMBRACING CYSTERHOOD: Awareness of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome Polycystic  ovary syndrome (PCOS, is a common health problem caused by an imbalance of reproductive  hormones leading to infertility, irregular menstrual cycles and other long term health problems such as diabetes and heart disease It is important to understand the symptoms and treatment for PCOS as it affects 1 out of 10 women in the childbearing age. A staggering 50% women with PCOS will develop type 2 diabetes or pre-diabetes before the age of 40 and there is 3 times the risk of women suffering PCOS of developing endometrial cancer. Furthermore, it’s shocking that 50% of the women go undiagnosed. SAHASH working in removing illiteracy at grassroots level started a computer literacy mission in Kurushetra.In Kurushetra a group discussion is going in villages and our volunteer guides the farmers about pattern of farming and cultivating crops .Women counseling is also a part of our volunteer and give training to women for their empowerment. In AMETHI a large campaign on health awareness is done by our volunteer and campaign to stand up against poverty decided to be held on 17-19 OCT in both AMETHI and KURUSHETRA to acheive a United Nations millennium compaign goals.

He holds a B.E. in Electronics and Communication and working with a multinational software company.
